DESCRIPTION:The 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is being hosted by the Parliament of Ghana and the CPA Ghana branch. \nDuring the CPC there will also be a number of additional conferences and meetings\, including: 39th CPA Small Branches Conference; Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) and Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) meetings; 66th CPA General Assembly; CPA Executive Committee meetings; and the 57th Society of Clerks at the Table (SoCATT) meetings). \nRegistration is not open as yet. All active CPA Branches are invited to register delegates to the Conference. \nQuestions regarding the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference can be directed to cpc@cpahq.org. \nThe Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) is CPA’s flagship event. The Conference is the largest gathering of Commonwealth Parliamentarians who come together to discuss and debate key global political issues and developments. \nThe 67th CPC will be held in 2024 in New South Wales\, Australia.

DESCRIPTION:World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October to celebrate all teachers around the globe and has been celebrated since 1994. \nThe theme for 2023 is Teachers: Leading in crisis\, reimagining the future. \nIt is co-convened in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO)\, UNICEF and Education International (EI). \nA concept note and social media pack has yet to be released. \nIt is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation\, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally. \n“Let us remember: one book\, one pen\, one child\, and one teacher can change the world.” – Malala Yousafzai \n  \n
