DESCRIPTION:What is the role of the Commonwealth in supporting education funding post-COVID? During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic\, 1.6 billion learners were out of school and school doors were shuttered for 168 million children for an entire year. Amidst this\, it is education budgets that will feel the greatest impact. Two-thirds of low- and lower-middle-income countries have cut their public education budgets since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
