New Beginnings: Nurturing Learning Culture, Building Resilience, Promoting Sustainability. Stronger, Bolder, Better Education by Design

By invitation.

Described as ‘the world’s largest gathering of education and skills ministers’, this annual event attracts delegates from across the world.

EWF 2023 addresses how education has changed and what we have learned from recent disruption and responses and considers longer term challenge and change. The conversations and exchanges at EWF are intended to help every participant to understand better what might work for education systems and help influence life and culture positively. Among other things, the programme will address building resilience among people, organisations and systems for learning and education. It will examine policies for development of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values; it will reflect on the importance of leadership, and the growing potential of technology’s support for education’s core aims. EWF’s programme will also consider education’s sustainability as well as its potential to aid understanding and contribute to global sustainability. The organisers hope it will assist every participant to help navigate their policy and practical paths towards new beginnings for stronger, bolder and better education, from early years through school, college and university to life long learning.

The EWF is supported by the UK Government (Department for Education, Department for International Trade, Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office) and the British Council.
