SUMMARY:Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)
DESCRIPTION:The 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) takes place from 6 to 17 March 2023 and will consider the priority theme of\, ‘Innovation and technological change\, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls’.  \nRepresentatives of UN Member States\, civil society organisations and UN entities gather at UN headquarters in New York to discuss progress and gaps in implementation of the Beijing Declaration\, as well as emerging issues that affect gender equality and empowerment of women. As well as the formal programme of the session of the Commission\, a programme of side events and parallel events held by NGOs\, including accredited Commonwealth organisations\, takes place.
