Commonwealth Education Partnerships (CEP)
Aims and objectives:
Commonwealth Education Partnerships and the accompanying website aim to provide an overview of education in the Commonwealth with up-to-date information about the education sector in individual Commonwealth countries and reviews of current issues in, and new approaches to, teaching and learning throughout the Commonwealth. It is an important resource for education ministers and stakeholders in preparation for the triennial CCEM.
Commissioned by the Commonwealth Secretariat, CEP is the official Commonwealth reference source. It is aimed at a wide readership, including ministers, policy makers, officials, educationalists, academics and students. Articles are written by education experts from around the Commonwealth.
Commonwealth Education Partnerships is published annually and the parallel website, Commonwealth Education Online, is continually updated and provides additional information, extended country reports on the 53 Commonwealth member countries and education partner profiles.
The 2015/16 edition of Commonwealth Education Partnerships focuses on the theme of 19CCEM: ‘Quality education for equitable development: Performance, paths, productivity – the 3 Ps’. The book has a special focus on literacy and the study of literature, as well as chapters on higher education, transnational education and vocational paths.
